Pocky, Strawberry Cream Covered Biscuit Sticks Japan
$6.68
Pocky was created by the Japanese company Glico and first released on November 11, 1966. The idea was simple: make a snack that people could eat without getting chocolate on their fingers. Glico coated most of a biscuit stick with chocolate but left one end plain so it could be held cleanly.
Why the Name “Pocky”?
The name comes from the Japanese sound “pokkin”, which imitates the crisp snapping sound the biscuit stick makes when bitten.
